Welcome to Pickle! We make renting your next look as seamless as possible:
Once you see the perfect item you want to rent, click the green Make Offer button
Owners price items assuming a one-week rental period (most common). If a rental period is longer than one week, the price will begin to increase based on the pro-rated daily price.
A Renter may submit an offer as low as 75% of the listed rental price. For example, if the listed rental price is $100, a Renter may submit an offer as low as $75. This floor is to protect Owners time by not requiring them to review extremely low offers they will ultimately not consider.
If you would like to offer a price lower than the 75% floor, you can send the Owner a message asking them if they are willing to drop their price
Set your offer and select the dates you hope to rent the item. This can be as little as 1 night, or as long as 4 weeks. You can submit an offer up to 90 days in advance of when you would like to receive the item. Please make sure you will be available to return the item on the end date you select for the rental.
Select your delivery method! You can choose from:
Hand Off: The Renter and Owner coordinate an exchange
Courier: A courier will pick up the item from the Owner and deliver the item right to your door
Ship: USPS Priority Shipping, which generally arrives in 3-4 days
β
Select your return method from the same three options, if you already know how you'll be returning the item; if you're unsure, you can select "Choose return method later"
Review and submit your offer! Pickle accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and you can even pay with your earnings from anything you've rented out from your Closet!
The Owner can Accept, Decline, or Counter your offer
βAfter you've received your item, you should coordinate your return by the last day of the rental period. You can return the item using the same delivery options as above
Other things to consider
Have a question about fit? We recommend messaging the Owner about any fit/sizing questions before submitting the offer.
Treat any rented items like you would your own! Renters are liable for damages caused during the rental period
Be sure to leave a review after your rental is over :)
