1. Listing Items for Sale

Listings for sale follow the same process as rentals:

  • Upload clear photos (including worn photos when possible)

  • Provide accurate descriptions

  • Disclose all wear or imperfections

  • Set a sale price (recommended: retail minus 10% or more)

Buyers often message for:

  • Measurements

  • Condition

  • Fit notes

Respond promptly to improve likelihood of sale. When listing an item, make sure to declare its accurate retail value. This is important because it is the value used if a courier or carrier insurance claim needs to be filed. Adding or updating a retail value after a loss has occurred does not qualify for coverage. Note that items over $10,000 cannot be shipped. We also recommend keeping receipts or proof of purchase for any items you list, especially higher-value pieces. This is needed to receive the full payout if an item is lost or damaged. See: Pickle Protection Policy: Lender / Owner

2. Receiving Offers

Buyers may:

  • Purchase at full price

  • Submit an offer

  • Message with questions

You may Accept, Decline, or Counter.

3. Delivery to Buyer

Use one of the approved delivery methods:

  • Courier (same day within radius)

  • Hand-Off (meet buyer safely)

  • Shipping (USPS Priority)

Items MUST be clean and as described. If an item is sent out dirty, altered without disclosure, or not as described, the buyer is eligible for a refund — and you may be liable for delivery and return costs.
