How to Buy on Pickle

Buying on Pickle connects you with pre-loved and designer items listed directly by Owners. This guide explains how to purchase an item safely and confidently.

1. Finding an Item to Buy

Browse listings with the Buy tag. Each listing includes:

  • Photos

  • Condition description and any disclosed wear

  • Seller notes

  • Price

  • Delivery options

If you need more details about condition, measurements, fit, or authenticity, message the Seller before purchasing. Sellers are not required to accept returns for fit reasons unless they have indicated this in their policy.

2. Submitting a Purchase Offer

Tap Buy, make your offer and choose your:

  • Delivery method

  • Delivery address

  • Payment method

Your card is charged when the Seller accepts the offer.

3. Delivery: Receiving Your Purchased Item

Pickle offers three delivery methods for purchases:

Courier β€” Same-day delivery if you are within range. A courier picks up from the Seller and delivers directly to you. Check the name on the courier's phone before accepting the item.

Hand-Off β€” Meet the Seller in person at a safe, agreed location coordinated through in-app messaging.

Shipping β€” Pickle offers dynamic shipping speeds. Your item will be dispatched by the Seller's ship-by date. If the item does not arrive as expected, contact Pickle Support.

4. Confirming Condition on Arrival

You must inspect your item within 12 hours of delivery and complete your condition report in the app.

If the item is:

  • Not as described

  • Damaged beyond what was disclosed

  • Counterfeit

  • Missing components

Contact Pickle Support immediately with photos from your condition report. If a refund is approved, you will need to set up a return right away.

5. Returns & Refunds for Purchases

Because Pickle facilitates peer-to-peer sales, refunds to your original payment method are available if an item is not as described, damaged, incorrectly sized without disclosure, or has authenticity concerns.

Fit refunds for purchases are at the Seller's discretion. If the Seller offers fit refunds and approves your request, the refund will be issued as Pickle Credits, not back to your original payment method. Check the listing for the Seller's fit refund policy before purchasing.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

As a Buyer you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery information

  • Confirming delivery in the app once you receive the item

  • Inspecting the item and completing your condition report within 12 hours of delivery

  • Following Seller return instructions if a return is approved

  • Understanding that purchases are peer-to-peer β€” refunds are available for items not as described, but not for change of mind unless the Seller's policy allows it
