How to rent from Pickle

This is the article will detail the basic timeline of a pickle rental

Updated over a year ago

Welcome to Pickle! We make renting your next look as seamless as possible:

  1. Once you see the perfect item you want to rent, click the green Make Offer button

  2. Set your offer and select the dates you hope to rent the item. This can be as little as 1 night, or as long as 4 weeks

  3. Select your delivery method! You can learn more about our delivery options here.

    You can choose from:

    1. Hand Off: You and the renter coordinate an exchange

    2. Courier: A courier will pick up and deliver the item right to your door

    3. Ship: USPS Priority Shipping, which generally arrives in 2-3 days

  4. Select your return method from the same three options, if you already know how you'll be returning the item. If you're unsure, you can select "Choose return method later."

  5. Review and submit your offer! We accept all major credits cards, Apple Pay, and you can even pay with your earnings from anything you've rented out from your Closet!

  6. The owner can Accept, Decline, or Counter your offer

  7. After you've received your item, you should coordinate your return by the last day of the rental period. You can return the item using the same delivery options as above

Renting expensive items

If you are a new Renter, you must rent and return 3 less expensive items before renting an item over $500.

Please note: If you change or remove the retail price to allow rentals of more expensive items, the Pickle team is not liable for helping replace a lost piece. We have these measures in place to keep our community safe.

Other things to consider

  1. Have a question about fit? We recommend messaging the seller about any fit/sizing questions before submitting the offer. Learn more about fit refunds here.

  2. Treat any rented items like you would your own! Renters are liable for damages caused during the rental period

  3. Be sure to leave a review after your rental is over :)
