Where to Find Your Promotions
To manage your discounts and promo codes:
Go to the My Closet tab
Tap the Settings icon
Select Closet Promotions
Here you will see all of your active, scheduled, and expired discounts and promo codes in one place. Tap into any of them to edit or delete them. You can also see how many times each one has been used.
At the bottom of the screen you will see two options: Add New Discount and Add New Promo Code.
Discounts
Discounts are automatic price reductions that apply to your listings without renters needing to enter any code. They are visible to anyone who visits your page or products.
How to create a discount:
Tap Add New Discount
Create a title for the discount
Set a start and end date
Set the discount amount
Choose whether the discount applies to all of your items or select items only — if select items, choose exactly which ones
How discounts work:
The reduced price is shown automatically on your listing — renters do not need to do anything
If you allow offers, renters can still adjust their offer value on top of the discount
Pickle may boost your closet or discounted items in our promotions sections, giving you additional visibility
Best for: Broad promotions where you want everyone visiting your page to see the deal — a seasonal sale, clearing out your closet, or boosting a slow period.
Promo Codes
Promo codes are custom codes you create and share directly with specific people. They are not visible on your public listings — only people who have the code can use it.
How to create a promo code:
Tap Add New Promo Code
Create a title — this is the exact code renters will type in at checkout
Set a start and end date
Choose the discount type:
A percentage off the order value, or
A fixed dollar amount off
Publish the code and share it with whoever you choose
Best for: Targeted promotions for specific people — rewarding loyal renters, sharing with friends, or running a private offer for a select group. Not everyone who visits your page will see it, only those you share it with directly.
Important: Discounts & Promo Codes Come Out of Your Earnings
All discounts and promo codes are funded by you as the lender — they come out of your earnings, not Pickle's margins. Make sure your pricing accounts for any promotions you run before publishing them.
For Renters & Buyers
Using a Promo Code at Checkout
If a lender or Pickle has shared a promo code with you, here is how to use it:
Browse and select the item you want to rent or buy
Proceed to the final page of the offer screen
Enter your code in the promo code field just above the Submit Offer button
If valid, the discount will apply immediately and your total will update
A few things to note:
Promo codes can only be used once per person
Codes may have expiration dates — check with whoever shared it with you if it is not working
If your code is not applying, make sure the spelling is correct and that it has not expired. If you are still having trouble, contact Pickle Support
Discounts
If a lender is running a discount on their closet or specific items, you will see the reduced price directly on the listing — no code needed. The discount applies automatically when you submit your offer.
